Please note that this calculator is developed to calculate your points based on the latest changes announced by the Home Office to the HSMP Programme / PBS (Tier 1) on 1st April 2008. The new scheme is very simplified & easy. The minimum qualifying points are 95.

The recent changes in the HSMP scheme mean:

1. 1. Qualifying threshold is increased for all applicants to 95 Points.
2. 2. It has been bifurcated as Minimum qualifying points in the basic attributes section to 75 plus 10 points for English Proficiency Plus 10 points for Maintenance
3. 10 Points for English Proficiency is mandatory
4. 10 Points for UK maintenance fund of 2800 GBP is mandatory. The principal applicants financial accounts shall have 2800 GBP for an average period of 3 months immediately prior to the date of application

For example a person’s date of birth is 13 August 1980. it means you are running 27 years of age.
